A comic, immigration attorney and self-proclaimed all-round hustler, Sikisa is mentally juggling as many flaming batons as the lads outside on Blair Street. Sikisa’s satire targeting government officials and ridiculous stories from past immigration cases are exactly what the culture needs as immigrants continue to be the scapegoats to politicians’ inability to effectively run the economies of countries across the Atlantic.
With everything Sikisa has on her plate, she’s still trying to live her best life. There are a few roadblocks though. Did you know it costs a boatload of money for sperm to have a baby through advanced fertility treatments? Not giving away what the ungodly amount is, do know that Sikisa is proceeding to live her best life nonetheless.
Along with adulting incredibly hard, Sikisa tried a new hobby recently – wrestling. It’s been her nerdy obsession since childhood and she still quit because sometimes that’s just the mood. She admirably and rhetorically asks the audience: “Why do something you don’t like”?
Sikisa also asks the room, looking for an answer this time: “Any other nerds here today?” One audience member confidently responds by nerding out about UV rays.
Serving Justice is chock-full of audience engagement and everyone is eating it up. From the handful of introductions to get the room warm at the start to the search for camaraderie from her fellow nerds in the room, Sikisa has everyone in The Tron’s basement hooked and shockingly eager to speak.
Sikisa: Serving Justice, Monkey Barrel Comedy (The Tron), until 24 Aug, 5.50pm
