Australian comedian Conk’s 2026 Fringe show is titled “Man Sings the Same Song Over and Over Again for an Hour”. Which will make more sense once you check out the comic’s choice of Fest mixtape.
We’ve dubbed it “Conk’s Constant Repeat Mixtape”, but not in homage to Charli XCX’s 2022 single. Rather, the mixtape quite literally requires you to put a track on constant repeat, specifically, asking you to loop the song “History Never Repeats” by New Zealand art rock band Split Enz.
So, put the 1981 track on repeat and see where the propulsive New Wave anthem takes you…
