What happens in the show?
Two families of cats and dogs fight. The cats have a party and there’s a fun disco. Romeo and Juliet fall in love. They go to sleep at the end. We built towers. It was a good show.
What did you like about the show?
The cat ears! The sparkly wand. Singing. The buttons, toys and lights. We had a pizza party.
Is there anything you didn’t like?
No.
What did your grown-up think?
A lovely, interactive show with lots of gentle sensory stimulation. Brook makes sure everyone, even at the back, can get involved and rolls with the unpredictable nature of children! She was able to hold their attention for the full 50 mins, which is an achievement in itself. I was wondering how she would manage the ending, but it was done beautifully. The kids got to choose a sticker (and allegiance!) before sitting down and dance at a disco and have a ‘pizza party’ wearing their cat ears and masks. It was fun and felt a little magical!
